Middle School and High School Summer Program Features
Summer programming prevents substantial regression of skills, but summer is also the time to recharge the batteries in preparation for the next school year. We do both!

• Thematic reading, writing, math and communication instruction
• Local hands-on and outdoor adventures
• Service learning opportunities
• School garden and farm stand
• Weekly field trips

Transition Summer Program Features
Summer is the time to hone in and bring independent living skills to mastery, such as travel.

• Students take advantage of the lighter class schedule to make frequent forays into the community via bus.
• Community service projects are opportunities to use reading, writing, and math in the world.
• Students explore healthy and safe alternatives to idleness in the Recreation Education class.
• Additional internships are explored in the summer months.
• Students solve real-life problems and make decisions as they work on projects that matter.
